The 25-year-old actress will appear in the “24 Hour Plays” project, an annual fundraiser for the Urban Arts Partnership, a group that provides arts education to underserved public school students.
“24 Hour Plays” features 24 stars, six writers, six directors, two musical guests and a production staff coming together to create six plays. After just one day of rehearsal, the plays are performed on Broadway. (Hence the “24 Hour” title.)
Fox will join other Broadway newbies for the project’s tenth anniversary performance, including Sarah Silverman, “30 Rock” stars Jack McBrayer and Tracy Morgan, Gabourey Sidibe and Jesse Eisenberg.
“24 Hour Plays” veterans participating this year include Jason Biggs, Woody Harrelson, Julia Stiles and John Krasinski.
Musical guests are “Legally Blonde” Broadway star Laura Bell Bundy and musician Andy Davis.
You can catch the “24 Hour Plays” show on November 14 at American Airlines Theatre in New York City. Tickets run $250 each.
Megan Fox showed off her newfound, curvier figure at the Friends with Kids premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on Friday. The 25-year-old stunned in a body-hugging red dress paired with super-sexy leopard heels.
In the past, Brian Austin Green’s wife has spoken about her struggle to gain weight. So how did Fox finally pack on a few healthy pounds? She ditched Veganism!
“For a year and a half, until about four months ago, I followed a strict vegan diet based on raw fruits and vegetables,” she told Amica magazine, as excerpted by the Daily Mail. “No bread, no sugar and coffee. But I had lost too much weight.”
“Now, I eat a bit of everything,” she said adding that she still trains three times a week with Harley Pasternak.
Gentlemen may prefer blondes — but Megan Fox would now prefer to have her giant Marilyn Monroe tattoo erased from her right forearm.
The 25-year-old star confirmed to Italian fashion magazine Amica that she is in the process of removing (via laser treatments) the talked-about portrait of the Hollywood legend from her famous body.
“I’m removing it,” Fox says. “She was a negative person, she was disturbed, bipolar. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life.” (Indeed, the notoriously troubled Monroe died in 1962 at age 36 of a drug overdose.)
But the Transformers bombshell has plenty of other body art staying on — with over nine other tattoos, including a quote in honor of her Passion Play costar Mickey Rourke on her ribcage, a tribal tattoo on her left wrist and another quote on her shoulder.
“Who knows, maybe I’ll remove the others too, but the laser hurts.”
Fox also fesses up to removing, like so many young women before her, a naval piercing.
“I did it when I was 16-years-old because I was a fan of Britney Spears,” she explains. “The only time I tried to imitate someone else. But then I thought it was tacky and so I removed it when I turned 20.
Megan Fox flaunted her newfound shapely figure Wednesday in L.A. Wearing high waisted leather shorts and a low-cut tank-top, the 25-year-old actress showed off her healthy curves on the set of This is Forty.
In March, Fox’s trainer Harley Pasternak opened up about his worries over the actress’ weight. “Believe it or not she has this really fast metabolism,” he told Hollywoodlife.com. “So her training is all about body toning and sculpting. With her it’s really about she’s eating enough of the right things. People thought ‘Oh she must be anorexic,’ but she’s far from that!”
Pasternak said the Jennifer’s Body star struggles to gain weight. “She gets frustrated at times because she’s like ‘I need to put on weight.’ So she actually weight-trains to keep on that lean muscle tissue,” he said.
Back in 2008, she had to pack on the pounds for a movie role. “I’d lost a lot of weight and got really scrawny but I was told I had to put on a size for Transformers because Michael [Bay, the director] doesn’t like skinny girls,” she told Fox News’ Pop Tarts.
So why’d she get so thin in the first place? “I just stopped eating,” she admitted to the site. “I don’t eat very healthy anyway — I have a serious sugar tooth, so now I eat red-velvet cake before I go to bed every night, and if you eat meals later, you’ll put on weight faster, so I had dinner at 10 p.m.”
