Final Four Battle is on tomorrow LIVE! on NBC’s The Voice
NBC revealed its four finalists on Wednesday’s (June 22) live episode of “The Voice,” and it was clearly an emotional experience for the performers and coaches. The semifinalists opened the show with a fun group rendition of George Michael’s “Freedom,” while Cee Lo Greene performed his single “Bright Lights, Bigger City.”
The Voice was just one of two programs watched by more than 11 million viewers across the U.S. and Canada last week. (The other was America’s Got Talent.)
The Voice is quirky, unpredictable, tension-filled and, most surprising of all, has clearly touched a nerve with a mature viewing audience disheartened by too many seasons of Tweener Text Vote Country Idol.
This time, there’s a sense that, when the final four singers square off in a two-hour performance program tomorrow, Tuesday, followed by an hour-long finale Wednesday, a genuine recording artist may emerge in the end.
Will it be from Team Adam – “the charismatic performer with the smooth voice” – Javier Colon, Team Blake –” The natural” – Dia Frampton, Team Ceelo – “hard-luck acoustic rock singer-songwriter from Tacoma, Washington” – Vicci Martinez or from Christina’s Team -“hard rocker” – Beverly McClellan.
